Christopher Savage

Founder, Chief Executive Officer

Chris leads Wistia’s strategy and business development efforts. Chris is intently focused on helping companies better incorporate video into their communications both internally and externally. Prior to founding Wistia, Chris worked in the independent film world as a producer and editor. He produced and helped bring to theaters “Buddy”, an Emmy award-winning feature-length documentary.

Chris holds a bachelor’s degree from Brown University.

Brendan Schwartz

Founder, Chief Technology Officer

Brendan is the chief architect of Wistia and responsible for the company’s technical strategy. He has an extensive engineering background and is an experienced designer. Before founding Wistia, Brendan served in a variety of technical and business roles at AgencyPort, an Inc. 500 company and leading provider of web-based solutions for property and casualty insurers.

Brendan holds an Sc.B. in Computer Engineering from Brown University.

Benjamin Ruedlinger

Executive Vice President,

Vice President of Engineering

Prior to joining Wistia, Ben was the CTO of social media platform Top Ten Sources acquired by MeeVee, Inc. in 2007. In addition, he founded the algorithms based blog tracking service, Blogniscient, which Top Ten Sources acquired in 2006. Previously, Ben served as Director of Tracking and Fusion Technologies at BAE Systems where he led software-based development programs for DARPA and the US military laboratories.

Ben received a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT, an M.S. in Computer Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, and a B.S. in physics from Case Western Reserve University.

Adam Zais

Vice President of Sales & Marketing

Adam brings over 25 years of sales, marketing, and general management experience to Wistia. He has helped drive strong revenue growth and customer satisfaction in high-growth technology companies ranging from startups to global enterprises. Most recently, he was with Brainshark, a leading SaaS vendor in the area of on-demand business communications.

Adam graduated from Boston University with a B.A. in Political Science.
