How to view tracking statistics for my video
There are two main ways to see viewing statistics for your videos. If you have embedded the video on your website, you will want to see embedded video statistics. If you have shared the video privately, you will want to see statistics for user sessions where people you invited into Wistia viewed your video content.
Statistics for embedded videos
To view the statistics for your embedded videos, select the “Embed tracking” option under the “Stats” tab at the top of any page in your Wistia account.
You will be taken to a page which will show a list of all of the videos you have embedded.
Click on the title of any of these embedded videos and you will be taken to a page containing the detailed embedded tracking statistics for your video.
Statistics for user sessions
To view the individual user statistics for people you invited into Wistia, select the “User sessions” option under the “Stats” tab at the top of any page in your Wistia account.
You will see a list of all user sessions for the users that have logged into your Wistia account. To see exactly what each user did in each session, click on the “Stats” magnifying glass next to the session.
A complete audit trail will be shown with all of the actions the user took while they were logged in to your Wistia account. This includes amount of time spent on various pages as well as video heatmaps for the videos that they viewed.
