Our video marketing conference, WistiaFest, is right around the corner in May, and we're feeling grateful to welcome a terrific group of speakers, workshop leaders, and attendees to Cambridge! One of the most valuable aspects of a conference is the interaction between the people there, teaching and learning from one another.
Last year, thanks to some generous ticket sponsorships, we were able to include some terrific people who might have been otherwise unable to attend because of budget constraints. These people brought unique perspectives: entrepreneurs just getting a business off the ground, non-profit professionals, and philanthropic organizations.
We've been delighted and honored by the support that the ticket sponsorship idea has gotten from some of our favorite companies. We believe event sponsorships should add tangible value to the attendee experience, rather than just impacting the bottom line for the event organizers. Hopefully, this approach feels like it adds value for attendees, sponsors, and organizers alike!
Here's some context on who our sponsors are, why we love them, how they're selecting ticket recipients, and how you can enter to win your own WistiaFest ticket!
Animoto makes it easy for any company to get started with video in minutes, even without any editing experience. They already chose a winner for their contest, and we're super excited to have Keeley Nakamoto join us, especially after seeing her awesome video!
AWeber has a super friendly design, and they use video on their site to educate and empower customers. You can enter their WistiaFest ticket contest by submitting a video via their Facebook page.
Emma makes email marketing feel accessible to organizations of all sizes and within all industries. We're excited to have Paul Searle, Kate Burt, and Mark Boszko joining us this year thanks to Emma!
HubSpot's great content helps countless companies do better inbound sales and marketing. They selected Pat Palingo of Yale Appliance to attend, and we're really excited to have him, considering we've written about his use of video here on the blog!
We really admire the authenticity, playfulness, and transparency of MailChimp's brand. MailChimp is giving away 7 tickets, and they said we can dole them out! Ashley Beeler, Sarah Zimmerman, and Aaron O'Neal will already be joining us courtesy of MailChimp, and you can win a ticket yourself by submitting a haiku by this Friday at 4 pm!
We routinely turn to Moz for insight about how to approach SEO, social media, digital marketing, and building a video series. They still have three remaining tickets to give away, so enter by submitting a 30-second video explaining why you deserve a ticket!
Here's a company that loves analytics nearly as much as we do, and that's saying a lot! Unbounce helps companies test landing pages like a boss. To enter Unbounce's contest, record a 5-30 second video of your best "get loose" dance, then post the video to Twitter, Instagram or Facebook and tag @Unbounce with the hashtag #WistiaFest.
Please join us and help spread the word!
Thanks again to our terrific sponsors! We'd love your help sharing this post to help more video marketers on a budget make it to WistiaFest. And don't forget to apply if you want to join us!
