Summer’s coming to an end, but Wistia’s still making waves with some exciting new updates. Let’s dive in and see what’s new!
With Wistia, you can record your webcam, your screen, or both at the same time. But have you ever wanted to effortlessly switch between layouts while editing your recordings?
Well, dream no more. Now, within Wistia’s video editor, you can glide between camera, screen, and split-screen views, making it a breeze to spotlight that important screen content, place focus on your expressive reactions on camera, or simply make your videos a whole lot more engaging.
It’s as easy as one, two, three:
- Open any webcam and screen recording in Wistia’s video editor.
- Hit the layout icon on the playhead.
- Adjust the clip’s layout to your liking.
If you’re on one of our new plans (even the free one), go ahead and give this feature a try!
Got a Hootsuite account? Now you can pair it with your Wistia account! This seamless integration lets you plan, schedule, and share your Wistia content directly from Hootsuite. Say goodbye to the hassle of juggling between platforms and hello to a more streamlined process of sharing your videos across your social media channels.
Open to all Wistia users, this integration is the perfect blend of two powerhouse platforms to give your videos the spotlight they deserve on social.
We all know that videos can be lean, mean lead generating machines — and it’s time to crank it up. Jump into our new conversion analytics tab within the media analytics section to easily track conversion rates and identify potential leads for each video.
Even if you haven’t enabled a marketing automation platform (MAP) integration, these analytics are still at your fingertips.
And for those on our Pro Plan and above? Export that list for easy segmentation or pop it into another marketing tool to nurture those leads. This is a great way to make sure your video content isn’t just engaging but also fruitful.
Are you a Pardot user? Well, you’re in for a treat because now you can add Pardot forms directly into your videos!
Pardot forms work as iframe embeds within the Wistia embed, and this integration allows you to seamlessly capture leads and tailor your videos with ease.
While the first version has certain constraints, like the inability to disable the “skip” option or add styling to the form, our primary goal remains: a smooth and delightful experience for both you and your viewers.
Speaking of forms, you can now embed your HubSpot form right onto your Wistia Live registration page.
And that’s not all. You can also have your event audience information effortlessly synced with your MAP.
It’s a breeze to convert from the default Wistia form to a HubSpot form and ensure a seamless data transition. To kick things off, simply choose “Convert to HubSpot Form” under “Registration.”
Heads up: Once a HubSpot form is enabled, Wistia no longer stores registration data, so some analytics may shift or become unavailable within Wistia. However, engagement analytics for live events are still available.
When it comes to managing your live events, leave the chaos in the past. You now have the ability to assign a default Project to your live events, making organization a breeze.
When you create a new live event, Wistia automatically selects a default Project for you. Feel free to keep it or switch it up as you like. All subsequent live streams will use the previous project destination as the new default.
Say hello to stress-free event management!
Searching for a specific video in your library just got easier! Use the media page filters available on the All Media page. These filters help you narrow your search and perform bulk actions.
In the future, filters will make media management even smoother, whether by Project or Channel.
Experience the new freedom to easily customize your video layouts, tap into richer conversion and traffic data, and save time organizing your media projects. These updates not only enhance your videos, but also streamline your workflow and provide insights that take your marketing game to a new level. So what are you waiting for? Let’s catch that wave!
