June has been a busy month here at Wistia. We rolled out some exciting new features we think you’ll love. From enhanced account management to sleek new editing tools, our latest updates will make your Wistia experience smoother and more powerful than ever.

Multiple account owners

We heard your feedback loud and clear. Now you can add multiple account owners to a single account! This new capability is perfect for teams that need to share account management responsibilities.

If you’re an account owner, head to the Users and Permissions page to upgrade other users to account owners. Once added, these new account owners can:

• Change the account’s name, logo, or URL
• Connect and disconnect integrations
• Create API keys
• Purchase, upgrade, or downgrade a subscription
• Update billing information
• Change account status
• Control video and account access

And voila. Your team has more flexibility and control, making collaboration smoother and account management more efficient!

An easier way to collect video testimonials

We all know how powerful customer testimonials can be, and we’ve made collecting them easier than ever.

Our new Invite to Record feature lets you generate a single-use link to invite anyone to record a video, even if they don’t have a Wistia account. So if you’ve got a customer with great things to say about your product or service, just send ‘em a link!

You can even help kick your customer off on the right foot by recording quick video instructions to go with your invite. Or you can just include a simple set of text instructions.

Once the customer records their testimonial, it’ll automatically be saved to your Wistia account in a designated folder. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Teleprompter refresh: script editing on the fly

We’ve given our teleprompter a fresh look and feel, but that’s not the best part. Now you can edit your script right in the teleprompter, making those last-minute changes a breeze. Whether you’re adjusting a few words or reworking entire sections, you can do it all without leaving the teleprompter.

This may be a small change, but it makes a big difference in your recording workflow!

Revamped video layouts and backgrounds

Our recording and editing layouts got a major glow-up! We’ve made it possible to customize your background to better fit your brand and style. Choose a Wistia gradient, a solid color, or even colors right from your brand kit to keep your background on brand.

Plus, you can scale and position your video clips to keep the important stuff front and center. And say goodbye to those pesky black bars — our updated layouts and video resizer will make your videos look more immersive and intentional than ever before.

A more intuitive editing experience

We redesigned our editing interface to make video editing much more intuitive and efficient.

You can now drag and drop new elements like media, transitions, and background music directly onto the timeline. Our reimagined timeline also features video thumbnails instead of the previous waveform, making it easier to see and edit your video.

With these changes, you can focus on creating great content without getting bogged down by the tools.
