Frequently asked questions
- Is Wistia Live supported on all browsers?
For hosts and panelists, we support all Chromium-based browsers such as Google Chrome, Brave, and Microsoft Edge. Your audience will be able to watch your event from any browser or mobile device!
- Does it work on mobile?
Unfortunately, we don’t support the streaming of webinars for hosts or panelists from a mobile phone. We recommend using a desktop computer with a strong Wi-Fi connection. However, your audience can watch your webinar from any mobile device!
- Can I embed live events on my website?
Not at the moment. For now, live events can only be streamed to your landing page. After the event, a recording will be saved to your account, and you can embed it wherever you’d like!
- Will I be able to record my webinars?
Yes! In fact, you don’t even need to manually record them. Any event that you stream live will automatically be recorded and available in your Wistia Account instantly after the event ends. The recording will start when you press “Go Live” and will end once you click “End Stream.”
- Is there a limit to how many webinars I can host?
There’s no limit to the number of webinars (or test runs) you can create and host. After the event, webinar recordings will count toward your media limit.
- How many co-presenters can I have in my webinar?
You can invite up to four panelists! Collaborate behind the scenes with a private backstage chat. As the host, you can decide when your panelists will make their appearance. When they aren’t “on stage,” your audience won’t be able to see or hear your panelists, so you never have to worry about sneaky background noise or unexpected distractions.
