Wistiafest was an annual gathering from 2013–2017 hosted by Wistia, which brought people together from all over the country who share passion and knowledge for video marketing. Hosted in Cambridge, MA, the event featured renowned speakers who covered topics from storytelling to measuring video effectiveness and everything else on the spectrum of video marketing. Even though the event was focused on how businesses are using video, the event was for more than just video marketers. Everyone from CEOs and marketing managers to sales people and agencies were in attendance!
More subjects speakers spoke about include how to come up with a winning video concept, how to drive creativity with data, tips for directing non-actors, and a boatload of other fascinating ways video is moving the needle for businesses. During the day, we hosted breakout sessions for attendees to learn about topics of their choice. Some of our own Wistians along with other excited speakers held breakout sessions hyper-focused on their areas of expertise. After four years, the Wistia team decided that 2017 would be their last year hosting the conference. Luckily, you can watch any of the past WistiaFest presentations and breakout sessions whenever you want! The Wistia team may not be hosting WistiaFest anymore, but they’re continuing to devote their focus on making business more human with video.
