June Product Spotlight: A Big Few Months for Webinars
June 3, 2026
The sun’s out, the days are long, and things are heating up over at Wistia. It’s been a busy start to the year, and we’ve made some really exciting updates to Webinars. Since January, we’ve rebuilt the whole experience from the ground up: we’re talkin’ full embedding on your site, real-time playback, deeper integrations with the marketing tools you already use, and AI-generated recaps that turn every event into something you can actually act on.
We also kept pushing on the rest of the platform, with new editing tools like Remix, better team controls, and more ways to make your videos feel like your own.
So grab your bug spray, lace up your sneakers, and meet us at the campfire to run through what we’ve shipped just in time for summer:
Webinars, rebuilt for how you actually work
Webinars shouldn’t feel like a separate tool. They should feel like part of your video strategy. These updates bring everything into one place, with better control, better data, and a smoother experience for your audience.
Embeddable webinars
Host the entire webinar experience on your own domain — that’s right, it’s embeddable anywhere on your site. You’ll get a single link to send your audience to register, watch the live event, and play back the recording. No sending people to another platform. Just a clean, fully branded experience from start to finish, all in one place.
Real-time webinars
Less delay, more connection. With near real-time playback, your audience can actually interact with hosts and panelists without the awkward “echo across the lake” lag.
More integrations that deliver results
We’ve added Eloqua, Klaviyo, and ActiveCampaign to our stack of marketing automation platform integrations, giving you more ways to turn engagement into measurable impact.
Expanded UTM tracking for your webinars and videos
You can now see exactly which campaigns, ads, and keywords are driving engagement and conversions, not just the broad source. We’ve added support for two new UTM parameters in webinar and video analytics: UTM content and UTM term. Tag your links, and you’ll be able to tell which LinkedIn ad, newsletter blurb, or paid search keyword is actually bringing people in.
Webinar performance snapshots
As soon as your event ends, you’ll get a clean, visual summary of your webinar’s performance that you can share with your team like a postcard from your event.
AI-generated event recap
At the top of your Webinar Recap page, we’ve added a quick, AI-generated written summary of your webinar’s performance that highlights engagement, registrations, attendance, companies that registered, how many people watched live and on demand, and total watch time to help you understand what happened before diving deeper into analytics.
Clearer data in your marketing automation tools
When you view contacts in your marketing automation platform, you’ll now see the last registered event name and last attended event name alongside their data, giving you better context for your follow-up.
Identify new contacts easily
Understand your reach and see whether your webinar is driving new contacts or engaging your existing audience in your webinar analytics.
Individual engagement timelines
Get the full engagement story for individual contacts with webinar touchpoints that help you see how folks interact with your webinars and forms over time.
Shareable analytics
Send performance insights to your team with simple, built-in share links on analytics pages that preserve date rage, filters, and sorting for the recipient.
Resources that stick with your content
Attach slide decks and supplementary materials to your webinar to give your attendees relevant information all in one place. Plus, resources will automatically carry over to the replay.
Manage videos with AI agents
If your workflow includes Claude, Cursor, or ChatGPT, you can manage your Wistia account and videos with simple prompts. Obtain media performance, order captions, summarize videos, manage transcripts, and more. Consider them your easy-breezy assistants for the season.
Deliver more with videos post-event
New AI-powered tools make it easy to turn one webinar into a whole summer’s worth of content without the extra sweat.
Wistia’s agentic editor, Remix
Turn a full webinar into highlight reels, recaps, or short clips with a simple prompt. Remix handles the editing, scripting, and formatting for you, so you can spend more time soaking up the sun.
More control in the editor
Delivering a polished video is all about the finishing touches, like the sprinkles on your ice cream cone. That’s why we’ve added even more features to help your videos stand out this summer. Now you can:
- Add image overlays
- Use new transitions (with timing + audio control)
- Adjust playback speed for faster editing
- Collaborate with timestamped comments
Empower the full team to make an impact
Seamless content organization
To reduce clutter in your organization’s shared Content Library, we’ve added My Library for individual users to keep personal and in-progress work separate, and to give users a lower-stakes place to create and experiment.
We’ve also added Auto Organize, a set of new automation features, to help keep your media library tidy and well-organized. It prompts users with cleanup suggestions for folders that make it easy to archive duplicate media, remove empty subfolders, transcribe videos with missing transcripts, and automatically tag videos on upload.
Better team visibility and collaboration
Account Owners and Managers can now see a feed of recent actions across their account such as uploads, deletions, permission changes, and more. Team activity can also be filtered by user, action, content type, and date.
Team collaboration also just got easier with the ability to grab a “Share for review” link in the comments panel or review page to bring others in.
More control over shared links
In the past, sometimes shared links would lead recipients to unintended pages. We’ve eliminated the confusion, and now Manage URLs always direct users to the Manage page, and standard media URLs consistently lead to the Media/Audience page.
New ways to make it yours
Custom domains for Channels
Host your video hub on your own subdomain, instead of a Wistia-branded URL, for a fully branded experience.
New video page layouts Give viewers more flexibility with updated layouts like Theater (player front and center, supporting content below) and Balanced (player and content side-by-side). Plus, viewers can toggle between them at any time without interrupting playback, and their preference is remembered across sessions.
